In our small groups led by a certified Early Childhood Educator, kids build independence and confidence in a stimulating, developmentally tailored environment. Owner, Head Teacher

Annika, the owner and head teacher at STEM Studio, holds a license in Elementary Education. She earned her degree from Carthage College with a minor in Early Childhood Education. A Park Ridge native, Annika loves giving back to her community and creating a space where young learners can thrive.

Andrea is a Teaching Associate at STEM Studio who helps plan and enrich our educational activities with her artistic talents and creative input. Originally from Chicago, she brings compassion for children, along with creativity and enthusiasm, to every classroom experience.

Maureen, a teaching assistant at STEM Studio, grew up in Park Ridge and brings a warm, calming presence to the classroom. After retiring from a financial association in 2022, she now enjoys time with her grandchildren and loves working with our 2–4 age group.

STEM Studio is a small business run by a caring staff whose goal is to combine a structured, school-like setting with a warm, home-like environment—creating the most comfortable space for kids to learn.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Schedule a tour and pick up a printed enrollment packet.

    • Fall: 20 weeks

    • Spring: 21 weeks

    • Summer: 11 weeks

  • There are always 2 teachers. If there are more than 10 children, a third teacher is added. Maximum of 15 children per day.

  • Availability can be accessed here.

  • An invoice is sent to your email, with secure ACH payment.

  • Yes!

  • No, potty training is not required.

  • Unfortunately, we don't offer day switches, as it becomes difficult to accommodate everyone’s requests. However, we can add an extra day if there’s space available.
